it's been like this for a long time. the boards always slow down in the summer, but this one was at a crawl to begin with.

that's because I was basically on JUST this board for alot of 2004, and some of this year... when, you spread out among like, what? 2-3 boards, or more?

And there's a difference between commenting on alot of shit in threads... and making posts about what games you played, or what you found in your turds that day.

Just a couple of comments.

This board consists of a majority of memebers that do have responsibilites outside of this board that can and do get in the way of spending as much time as most of us would surely like to, but we knew that going in.

If you don't participate day to day, then I don't see where anyone has any right to think they can truely complain about the state of it. I don't see people for days and weeks and then will complain about the slowness of the board. If you don't contribute - deal with it. Damn the replies - try what you can. My weekly post for te last month or two hasn't received more than a couple of posts on occasion - but I'm not stopping it being posted. Everything is in cycles, this is just the down part of a longer one. If you don't like what is going on - try to make a change in it. Post more - damn the number of replies.

and finally if the name calling/attitudes gets out of hand and turns into a board bitch fest between a couple of people - you won't have to worry about how slow the board is anymore......
